Products I've Used Up & Mini Review

I thought it might be a good idea to review products I have used up. I feel like sometimes we become infatuated with a product, but after a couple of uses, that "loved" product ends up in the back of a drawer. So after I accumulate five finished products, I will do a mini review since I will know if its something I've loved enough to repurchase. Isn't it a great feeling when you get to the bottom of a product!

Elf Mineral Infused Mascara:
I actually did like this mascara. It was a great everyday mascara. It isn't waterproof so if you get teary eyed, it will get messy! Will repurchase after I go through my waiting stash of mascaras. $3 at

Blistex Daily Conditioning Treatment with SPF 20:
Great nighttime lip treatment! It would still be on my lips when I wake up in the morning. It has a minty coolness and smelled slightly medicinal. Will not repurchase since it is a product I love to use at night and don't think I need the SPF. However, there is one called Lip Medex that I will try next. $2 at most drugstores.

NYX Girls Round Lip gloss in Natural:
I love this!!! It is the perfect neutral pink gloss. It is pigmented, creamy, and not sticky at all. It has a slight smell but quickly fades. I heard that this is/might be discontinued, but they're still selling them at I will definitely be stocking up. $1.99.

INM Out the Door Super Fast Drying Top Coat:
I bought this because I ran out of Seche Vite and wanted to try something different. The formula is thinner and it is cheaper than Seche Vite. However, Seche Vite's finish is glossier. I also found that Out the Door goops up faster than Seche Vite. Will not repurchase, I will be going back to Seche Vite. $5 at CVS.

My 5th product is a stock photo because...I used it all up :)

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap in Unscented Baby Mild:
This was my second bar and I use it on my face. I love it! It lathers up well and cleans off my makeup. It doesn't strip my skin or leave it feeling dry. It doesn't irritate or cause acne. It's also  great for cleaning make up brushes! I will definitely repurchase! I bought mine at Duane Reade but heard it can be found at Target as well. $3.99.

What are some of your repurchases?

Mini TJ Maxx Haul and Target Boots

TJ Maxx is my favorite store to shop at, since I love a good bargain . Brand name clothing, shoes, makeup, and housewares at awesome prices! I also love Target's clearance section which is where I picked up the boots. In addition to the boots, I also picked up two large lamp shades for $6 each!!

I love anything mint colored, and looking at this mug just made me happy! TJ Maxx $2.99
On my way to the register, I spotted the red mug with hearts and couldnt resist. TJ Maxx $3.99

I also have heard about being able to find theBalm products at TJ Maxx but most of them had missing items or were broken. I was finally able to find one that was intact. It comes with a bronzer that doubles as an eyeshadow, a blush, a lipgloss with SPF 17, and a mini kabuki brush. $9.99

Here are some swatches:

Betty-Lou Manizer is a bronzer which doubles as an eyeshadow. It is the perfect color for my skin tone. However, as a bronzer, there is fine glitter that is visible in the sun. I prefer matte bronzers. No…

Red Lipstick Collection

I have recently become obsessed with red lipstick. I love how it can add a pop of color to a simple look and make it look like you've made some effort.  Check out my latest YouTube video on my red lipsticks:
As promised here are some swatches:

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms in Sultry and Standout

I was a good girl. I wanted to buy all of the Revlon Matte Balms but I held myself back. It took a lot of effort. I picked up the two shades I knew I would get a lot of wear from. These two shades are Sultry and Standout.

Sultry is a gorgeous pinky mauve.

Standout is a gorgeous deep red.

I really think I might pick up some more. They go on smoothly without tugging. While these are matte, they are comfortable to wear since they are not as drying as most matte lipsticks can be. Until now, I really thought "matte balm" was an oxymoron, but Revlon has done it!
