Maybelline Superstay 2-Step Lipcolor

I recently received my much awaited package from BzzAgent, which contained these lovely lipsticks from Maybelline. They sent me four shades: Everlasting Wine, Forever Chestnut, Timeless Rose, and Wear on Wildberry.

It's a two step lipcolor; one end has a long wearing lip stain and the other end has a moisturizing balm.

According to Maybelline, what makes these lipsticks different from the others is the Micro Flex formula which prevents the lipcolor from crumbling, caking, fading, feathering, and transferring.

I found that the lipcolor did not crumble, feather, or transfer but it did fade around the middle top and bottom of my lips.
Here are some swatches on my lips:

From top left going counter clockwise: Timeless Rose, Forever Chestnut, Everlasting Wine, and Wear On Wildberry
I know these swatches on my lips look somewhat similar so here are swatches on my arm:

From top to bottom: Wear on Wildberry, Everlasting Wine, Forever Chestnut, and Timeless Rose

Pros: Long Wearing (definitely lasts longer than regular lipstick!), Doesn't Transfer (perfect for moms who love kissing their kids!), Has a nice Strawberry Scent, Convenient Packaging (No need to carry separate lip balm), Good Color Selection
Cons: Fades, Need to Carefully Apply (mistakes take time to remove), Has to be removed with Oil-Based Makeup Remover

I think these lipsticks are perfect for special occasions, or days when you want your lipstick to last more than a few hours, however I probably wont be reaching for these on a daily basis.

Mini TJ Maxx Haul and Target Boots

TJ Maxx is my favorite store to shop at, since I love a good bargain . Brand name clothing, shoes, makeup, and housewares at awesome prices! I also love Target's clearance section which is where I picked up the boots. In addition to the boots, I also picked up two large lamp shades for $6 each!!

I love anything mint colored, and looking at this mug just made me happy! TJ Maxx $2.99
On my way to the register, I spotted the red mug with hearts and couldnt resist. TJ Maxx $3.99

I also have heard about being able to find theBalm products at TJ Maxx but most of them had missing items or were broken. I was finally able to find one that was intact. It comes with a bronzer that doubles as an eyeshadow, a blush, a lipgloss with SPF 17, and a mini kabuki brush. $9.99

Here are some swatches:

Betty-Lou Manizer is a bronzer which doubles as an eyeshadow. It is the perfect color for my skin tone. However, as a bronzer, there is fine glitter that is visible in the sun. I prefer matte bronzers. No…

Red Lipstick Collection

I have recently become obsessed with red lipstick. I love how it can add a pop of color to a simple look and make it look like you've made some effort.  Check out my latest YouTube video on my red lipsticks:

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms in Sultry and Standout

I was a good girl. I wanted to buy all of the Revlon Matte Balms but I held myself back. It took a lot of effort. I picked up the two shades I knew I would get a lot of wear from. These two shades are Sultry and Standout.

Sultry is a gorgeous pinky mauve.

Standout is a gorgeous deep red.

I really think I might pick up some more. They go on smoothly without tugging. While these are matte, they are comfortable to wear since they are not as drying as most matte lipsticks can be. Until now, I really thought "matte balm" was an oxymoron, but Revlon has done it!
